The Pride of America (POA) from Norwegian Cruise Line is based in the Hawaiian Islands and sails round-trip from Honolulu Harbor — departing at 5 PM Saturday and returning at 7 AM the following Saturday. Across the week it calls on Oahu, Maui (two days), Hilo and Kona on the Big Island, and Kauai (two days), giving you 9 to 35 hours in each port.

Honolulu Harbor — EMBARKATION
Oahu
Your embarkation port. Many guests arrive a couple of days early to enjoy Waikiki and Oahu, then sail Saturday at 5 PM. Tours with pickup at the Honolulu Harbor cruise pier can store luggage for the day and drop you at your hotel or the airport — so arrival and departure days are productive, not wasted.

Kahului Harbor — TWO-DAY PORT
Maui
The ship docks two days at Kahului, giving you up to 35 hours on Maui. We recommend the Road to Hana on day one; on day two, catch the Haleakala sunrise or head out to Molokini for snorkeling — with humpback whales in view January through April. (Day-two tours skip Hana and sunsets due to timing; day-one tours skip sunrise and early snorkels.)

Hilo
Your first Big Island stop is a chance to see an active volcano and historic Hilo town. Most guests take a full-day tour to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a black sand beach, and waterfalls. Not into volcanoes? There are ATVs, horseback rides, and helicopter flights within about an hour’s drive.

Kailua pier — TENDER PORT
Kona
The only tendered stop on the cruise, off the coast of Kailua-Kona. The views are spectacular and the historic town is a lovely place to stroll. Tours here are short and rich in local culture and history; some leave right from the pier, while helicopter options sit about a 30–50 minute drive away.

Kauai
Two days on Kauai still won’t feel like enough. Day one pairs a trip to Waimea Canyon with a Fern Grotto cruise and a luau — possibly the best single day of variety in all of Hawaii. Day two is for one standout adventure: mountain tubing, ATV, a hike, or a zipline — with time to return before departure. And on an island full of great views, a helicopter ride over canyons, waterfalls, and the Na Pali Coast is unforgettable.
