PROGRAM OVERVIEW
A group of about fourteen took on the biggest itinerary AGT builds — a 13-night, four-island grand circle across Oahu, Kauai, Maui, and the Island of Hawaii. Four islands in one trip means three inter-island flights, four hotels, and three changeovers that all have to feel like one journey.
AGT engineered the island order and nights-per-island, locked three inter-island flights to checkout and arrival timing, coordinated four separate ground operations, and threaded every transition — a timed checkout, an airport handoff on both ends, the flight, and a private arrival transfer to the next hotel, with luggage sequenced through — under one concierge from the first island to the last.
THE OPERATIONAL CHALLENGE
A four-island grand circle is really four programs stitched into one. Four things had to be handled.
1.
Engineering the Island Order
The islands had to be sequenced to balance drive-heavy and relaxed stays and to make the flights and hotels line up.
2.
Three Inter-Island Flights
One group, three separate inter-island connections, each timed to a checkout on one side and an arrival transfer on the other.
3.
Four Ground Operations
Each island is its own ground operation; four had to hand off seamlessly.
4.
Baggage Across Transitions
Luggage had to be sequenced through three changeovers without a bag going astray.
PLANNING & PREPARATION
AGT planned the trip as one itinerary, engineering the island order and nights-per-island (Oahu 3, Kauai 3, Maui 4, Hawaii Island 3) before anything was booked.
With four islands in play, planning concentrated on the transitions: locking the three inter-island flights to checkout and arrival timing, coordinating local ground operations on each island, and establishing a single concierge over the whole trip.
Island Order & Nights
Oahu 3 → Kauai 3 → Maui 4 → Hawaii Island 3, engineered to balance the islands.
Inter-Island Flights
Three flights locked to checkout and arrival timing.
Four Ground Operations
Local transfers, touring, and rental-car coordination arranged on each island.
Single Concierge
One concierge over the whole trip, from the first island to the last.
EXECUTION — THE AGT SOLUTION
On the ground, AGT ran the grand circle as one continuous journey. The group moved Oahu → Kauai → Maui → Island of Hawaii over 13 nights, staying in four properties in sequence.
Each of the three island changes followed the same coordinated model — a timed checkout, an airport handoff on both ends, a coordinated inter-island flight, and a private arrival transfer to the next hotel, with luggage sequenced through — and rental cars were coordinated where the group chose to self-drive. One concierge owned the trip end to end. AGT builds these as multi-island programs.

LESSONS LEARNED
A four-island grand circle is four programs stitched into one — engineer the island order and nights-per-island before booking anything.
Lock inter-island flights to both a checkout and an arrival transfer; the flight is only the middle of the move.
Treat every changeover as a single coordinated move with luggage sequenced through, not a series of separate bookings.
One concierge over the whole trip is what makes four ground operations feel like one journey.
