43-Guest Kauai Group Tour — Vans, Motorcoach & the Whole Island
How Aloha Group Travel ran a multi-day Kauai program for a 43-guest group — Waimea Canyon and the lookouts by Sprinter van, a Hanalei day, a Na Pali coast departure from Port Allen, the Wailua River, and a luau — right-sizing the vehicles to each route and booked through a group organizer.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
A 43-guest group came to Kauai for a multi-day program that touched every side of the island — the canyon lookouts, the north shore at Hanalei, the south coast, and the Wailua River — across separate touring days.
The operational catch was the vehicles: Kauai’s canyon-lookout roads can’t be run in full motorcoaches, so the lookout day needed multiple Sprinter vans, while the flat coastal day to Port Allen could take a single motorcoach. AGT, booked through a group organizer, right-sized the fleet to each route and ran the whole program from a Lihue-area resort base.
KAUAI GROUP-LOGISTICS CHALLENGE
Touring Kauai with a 43-guest group means matching the vehicle to the road, every day. Four things had to be handled:
1.
The Lookouts Need Smaller Vehicles
Waimea Canyon, Kalalau, and the Hanapepe Valley lookouts sit on roads that full motorcoaches can’t comfortably run; the group had to be split across multiple Sprinter vans to reach them.
2.
The Coast Can Take a Motorcoach
The flat run to Port Allen for a coast departure, plus a coffee-estate stop, suited a single 50-seat motorcoach — a different vehicle for a different day.
3.
Different Days, Different Sides of the Island
The canyon, Hanalei, the south coast, and the rivers are spread across Kauai; each touring day needed its own routing and timing.
4.
One Group, Booked Through an Organizer
The program was booked by a group organizer; AGT had to operate the Kauai ground seamlessly behind it for all 43 guests.
AGT SOLUTION
AGT right-sized the fleet to each day. The canyon-and-lookouts day ran on multiple Mercedes Sprinter vans — the vehicles needed to reach Kalalau, Waimea Canyon, and the Hanapepe Valley lookouts — with a Waimea Town lunch, the Spouting Horn blowhole, the Wailua River and Fern Grotto, and a river luau.
A separate Hanalei day took the group to the north shore for paddleboarding, and the coast day used a single motorcoach for a Port Allen departure and a Kauai coffee-estate stop. Every day ran from a Lihue-area resort base, booked through a group organizer and operated end to end by AGT.
