PROGRAM OVERVIEW

A team trip lives or dies on the game schedule — everything else has to fit around it. A team of about 40, athletes and staff, traveled to Oahu for a tournament: competition days at the venue, practice-facility time before games, equipment to move, meals on a team schedule, and a couple of recovery days.

The program had to put the team at the right venue at the right time, fed and equipped, and give them a real Hawaii experience on off-days — without the coaching staff managing buses and logistics. AGT built the whole program around the competition schedule.

TEAM-TRAVEL LOGISTICS CHALLENGE

A sports-team program is built around a fixed competition schedule, and four things have to fit it:

1.

The Game Schedule Drives Everything

Competition and practice times are fixed; transfers, meals, and rest have to be sequenced around them, not the other way around.

2.

Venues, Practice Facilities, and Equipment

The team needs transfers to game and practice venues and a way to move equipment, sized to the squad.

3.

Team Meals on a Team Schedule

A traveling team eats on a schedule built around games and practices, not a standard tour itinerary.

4.

Recovery and Off-Days

Between competition, the team needs recovery time and a real Hawaii experience — without losing focus on the games.

AGT SOLUTION

AGT built the program around the competition schedule. We coordinated transfers to game and practice venues timed to the team’s schedule, moved equipment with the team, and arranged team meals and a team hotel block paced to games and practices.

On off-days, AGT built recovery-friendly Hawaii experiences — Pearl Harbor, the North Shore, a catamaran or snorkel day — so the trip was more than the tournament. Charter transportation moved the squad as one, and a single team-travel contact owned the program, so the coaching staff focused on competition.
