PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Big Island is bigger than all the other Hawaiian islands combined, and its best experiences are scattered across it — volcanoes in the south, snorkeling and coffee on the Kona coast, waterfalls and horseback on the Hilo side, ziplines and valleys in the north. Fitting them into one week means long drives, dispersed vendors, and tight timing.
AGT designed a seven-night itinerary that delivered six signature adventures — a Kohala zipline, a Volcanoes National Park day, a Waipio Valley UTV tour, Kona snorkeling with a dolphin watch, Hilo horseback riding, and a luau — and coordinated the transportation and timing so the group experienced the whole island without the logistics headache.
BIG ISLAND DISTANCE CHALLENGE
The Big Island’s scale is its appeal and its complication. Four things had to be solved:

The best experiences sit hours apart — Kona, Volcano, Hilo, Waipio. A packed week means real driving and careful routing, not a casual schedule.

Adventures Are Spread Across Vendors
Ziplines, UTVs, snorkel boats, volcano tours, and horseback rides are run by different operators in different regions, each with its own timing.

Transportation to Every Tour
Each adventure needed transportation coordinated to it — pickups timed to tour start times across the island.

A Week That Stays Fun, Not Frantic
Six big adventures in seven nights had to be paced so the trip felt full but not exhausting, with the timing handled for the group.
AGT SOLUTION
AGT designed the week around the island’s geography. We based the group at a Kona resort, met them on arrival, and coordinated transportation to every adventure — timing each pickup to the tour’s start across Kona, Volcano, Hilo, and the north.
The volcano day combined a Kona coffee farm, the black-sand beach and sea turtles at Punalu‘u, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and Kilauea, and a dinner before the drive back over Saddle Road. Other days delivered a Kohala zipline, a Waipio Valley UTV tour, Kona snorkeling with a dolphin watch, and a Hilo horseback ride, capped by a luau. A personal local concierge owned the schedule, so the group just showed up and went.
